Tuesday, January 1st - CHILDREN'S MINISTRY VISION & VALUES

Our Vision:

(Evangelize, Equip, Empower)
It is our vision to build a ministry that includes and involves our children in the ministry of our local church. A ministry of excellence, that helps our children to experience the presence and life-changing power of God.

We want to help our children grow in their relationship with God, and His people, and discover His purpose for their lives.

We are committed to empowering our children to accomplish that purpose in the local church, their schools and around the world.
(Gen 1:26, Matt 28:18-20, Matt 12:29-31, Eph 4:11-16)

Our Mission:

1. To help our children become fully devoted followers of Christ.(Matthew 28:18-20)

2. To help our children discover and flourish in their gifts and life purpose.(Ephesians 4:11-16)

What We Value:
In addition to our Chapel Family Values, the Children/Youth Ministry places high value on:

1. We value the parent’s God-given authority and responsibility for raising and nurturing their children’s spiritual growth, and we will work in co-operation with them.

2. Our children are a gift from God. The teaching and discipleship of our children is an enormous responsibility given to us by God and we take it very seriously.

3. Our children are the future of the Church. We see Children’s Ministry as an opportunity to help shape that future. The Children’s Ministry is a vital part of the Believers’ Chapel generational ministry and not simply a convenient child care option.

4. Our children will understand the importance of God’s Word, the Bible, as the “hand book of our lives” because it is the ultimate source for everything that we do.

5. We value those who teach and disciple our children. Those who teach our children must be upright, members in good standing at the Chapel, and have a proven record of commitment and trustworthiness.
